POSITION SUMMARYThe KKC Group Lead Teacher is responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, fun and thriving, age-appropriate environment. Work as a team with other KKC staff to provide direct instruction & supervision to students.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS(General overview and may not include all details of responsibilities)DUTIES
  • Support the KKC Director in maintaining a quality program that upholds the standards, goals and overall mission of King's Kids Club.
  • Supervise students in small & large group settings
  • Implement daily program activities. May be asked to assist in planning activities.
  • Assist the Director in maintaining a clean well-functioning, safe environment. Set up the area daily.
  • Responds directly to the needs of students. Creatively solve problems and resolve concerns with students.
  • Perform job tasks independently and in a timely manner without direct supervision.
  • Intentionally Develop positive relationships with students and their families.
  • Know and comply with King's policies and procedures
  • Maintain flexibility and change direction quickly in response to a variety of situations.
  • Ensures that equipment is clean, safe, set up and stored properly.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisor, coworkers, students and families.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Engages our ministry including staff and colleagues through prayer, participation in spiritual practices, leading devotionals and other spiritual practices.
  • Affirms, aligns with and supports CRISTA's Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Statement (CCC).

EDUCATIONHigh school diploma or equivalent.EXPERIENCEPrior experience working with children.LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONMust have within 30 days of hire the following: Portable Background Check Card, HIV and blood borne pathogen training, and child CPR/First Aid.SOFTWARE / EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGEOffice 365, Check in/out software, Ability to use internet on the work desktop, laptop, iPad and iPhone.OTHER CONSIDERATIONS

  • Responsible for keeping Licensure/Certification updated and current. Provide documentation to the Director.
