The role leads and is accountable for Lead Industrial Projects in USA (Procurement, Operations, Commercial targets, Pricing submission to bids). Will set and manage a team of Project Managers accountable to deliver execution of contracts; (From qualification, Pricing, contractual negotiation to Execution and financial reporting).Support recruitment of qualified team with support from GHO Operations Team when needed. Drive Commercial Pricing activity and targets and focus in Existing and New business in coordination with GHO Team and local commercial as well as Global experts. Overview Operations execution in line with Client's KPI, contractual commitments and Project requirements. Participate in the Global IP Strategy initiative and have its own distinct P&L to develop and manage.WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Manage a team of 20 to 100+ professionals
- as Director of Operations in Industrial Projects and, accountable for Operations, Commercial, Procurement and Pricing within the US.
- Clients accountability in driving Project delivery and timelines
- Overall support on any issues relating to Industrial Projects solutions to meet customer needs.
- Growth and development of client's list in coordination with Global, Regional and Country leaders
- Plan in key supplier's strategy support, stevedores, Vessel operators, Heavy Lift operators
- Financial reporting (Monthly P&L, QBR, Budget) as per company policy
- Accounts receivable in assistance with Project Controls
- IP team training, development, and growth
- Ensure directives, rules and procedures are communicated throughout the team. Ensure KPIs are issued to monitor activity and service level.
- Ensure safety methods and programs are implemented, always remain a key focus
- Ensure compliance and company standards are known by key stakeholders
- Monitor market opportunities, client development and vendor's asset position
- Assist commercial management and support commercial strategy of USA with IP dedicated commercial team.
- Oversee and manage the professional development and productivity of regional staff member to ensure proper goals, training, professional development and project requirements are met.
- Keep abreast of emerging technology changes and innovations through the industry
- Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED; Preferred: 15+ years of experience managing operations, EPC, OEM LNG, Mining, Manufacturing. 10+ years in progressively responsible roles.
- Credentials: Maritime school or Engineering qualification.
- Skills: Ability to communicate and interact effectively with people from multi-functional and diverse backgrounds. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees and customers.
- Characteristics: Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs; Ability to perform in a team environment. Ability to read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents
