We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Outdoor Field Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be a key member of our outdoor operations, assisting with the preparation, maintenance, and breakdown of our sports fields. You will ensure our facilities are in top condition for our athletes and patrons, with your primary functions revolving around field preparation, equipment management, and customer support.ResponsibilitiesField Maintenance: Assist with the daily setup and breakdown of outdoor fields, including moving and securing goals, setting up boundary lines, and preparing fields for games and practices.Equipment Management: Transport, organize, and maintain sports equipment and field supplies. Ensure all equipment is in good working order and report any needs for repair or replacement.Customer Support: Greet and assist customers and teams, answering questions and providing directions. Be a friendly and helpful point of contact for anyone using our outdoor facilities.Safety and Cleanliness: Perform routine safety checks on fields and equipment. Help maintain the cleanliness of outdoor areas by removing trash and debris and ensuring a safe environment for all users.General Assistance: Be ready to assist with other outdoor or facility tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.QualificationsA strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, bending, and reaching.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Strong communication skills and a positive, helpful attitude.Must pass a comprehensive background check.Working ConditionsWork is primarily outdoors and may involve exposure to various weather conditions (heat, cold, sun, rain).Involves physical labor, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling equipment.May require working a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules. Employment classification This is a part-time, hourly position requiring approx. 15–20 hours per week.
