If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a CNC Machine Maintenance Technician located in Buffalo Grove, IL.Reporting to the Tooling Manager, the CNC Machine Maintenance Technician role involves maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment to ensure it is operational, such as mills, grinders, and CNC or related production machines and equipment.What a typical day looks like:
  • Troubleshoots, identifies machine malfunctions and isolates the failure mechanism.
  • Repairs the failure mechanism in the most cost-effective manner.
  • Performs preventive maintenance at specified intervals and schedules.
  • Performs calibrations and re-qualifications on equipment at specified intervals and schedules.
  • Assists process technicians and engineers with the installation and removal of process equipment.
  • Records times and problems in equipment logs.
  • Provides daily equipment functioning activity information.
  • Disassembles instruments and equipment and inspects components for defects.
  • Aligns, repairs, replaces, and balances component parts and circuitry.
  • Assists engineers in formulating test, calibration, repair and evaluation plans.
  • Maintain precision accuracy of measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment.
  • Highest level may perform both software and hardware maintenance.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
  • 5 - 7 years related experience
  • 3-5 years' experience using Mazak, Makino, GF Machines, Mikron, Okamoto, Studer, Kellenberger, Yasda, Roeders, System 3R automation.
  • High School diploma, military technical training, or equivalent vocational training.
  • CNC Repair experience
