- Support the operations of Build-A-Bear Foundation
- Achieve goals and tasks set forth by the Board of Directors
- Manage Hearts & Hugs Fund – select donation recipients, ensure timely deliveries, and achieve donation goal numbers
- Communicate marketing of Build-A-Bear Foundation and other cause marketing programs
- Create associate experience events
- Execute rewards and recognition programs across the organization
- Facilitate onboarding program for corporate associates
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2-4 years experience in non-profit or events
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams & SharePoint
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Bachelor's degree - Human Resources or Communications
- Experience in development or fundraising at a non-profit organization
- Enjoys working with a variety of people
- A communicator, who naturally stimulates and motivates others
- Responsive to the needs and concerns of others
- Works at a slightly faster-than-average pace
- Handles details correctly and efficiently
- Has a "how can I help" attitude
- Willingness to involve others in decision making
- Expert knowledge in area of expertise
- Strong and friendly follow-up when necessary
- Typical office environment with climate control and sufficient lighting, ergonomic desk/chairs
