Description :Make new connections, establish new relationships, and make a difference in the life of a Senior Community Member – Become a Driver for the GVH Senior Transportation Services!Summary:The Senior Transportation Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting clients within the city of Gunnison to appointments, and/or activities. Requirements:To be seriously considered for this role, you’ll need to have:
  • Education – High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be at least 18 years old
  • Experience – Previous driving experience preferred.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Must have a current, valid Colorado Drivers license. Will be trained in transfers and first aide upon hire.
Shift - DaySchedule -Monday -SundayStatus - Full Time32 to 40 hours a week.Physical Requirements:Occasionally - Standing, walking, sitting, reach across midline, pinching, crouching/squatting, stairs, lifting (0-20 lbs), carrying (0-20 lbs), pushing/pulling (20 - 50 lbs)Frequently – Sitting, reaching, handlingContinuously – See with corrective eyewear, hear clearly with assistanceCompensation: $18.00 - $23.85/hr, depending on experience.Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
