We’re recruiting on behalf of a Fortune 500 manufacturing leader recognized globally for operational excellence and innovation. Their West Virginia division is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations, lead a small team, and ensure accuracy and compliance across financial reporting. This role offers exposure to cost analysis, reporting systems, budgeting, and continuous process improvement.Compensation & Benefits:Base salary: $65,000–$75,000Bonus potential: First-year total compensation typically around $115,000Comprehensive benefits packageKey Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day accounting functions including cost/variance analysis, inventory transactions, and operational reviewsOversee month-end and year-end closing processes while ensuring GAAP complianceSupervise and mentor accounting staff to support accuracy and efficiencySupport capital expenditure planning, budgeting, and operational analysisPrepare financial, operational, and statistical reports using OneStreamMaintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting policiesPartner with internal and external auditors to ensure complianceIdentify and implement process improvements for greater efficiencyWhat We’re Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldStrong background in accounting operations; audit experience a plusSkilled in ERP systems; OneStream, Dynamics 365, and Jet Reports experience preferredAdvanced Excel skills required; Power BI knowledge beneficialExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsCPA or CMA certification (active or in progress) preferredThis is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll collaborate across teams and play a key part in the success of a respected industry leader.
