- Independently or lead a project team to identify, scope, plan and conduct medium-size to complex assigned projects. Communicate project progress and escalate issues to management in a timely manner.
- Understands the business needs and has a thorough knowledge of the customer when developing a project scope. Incorporates business foresight of emerging technological trends. Leads development of Project Charter and documents the initial requirements that satisfy the stakeholder’s needs and expectations. Establishes engineering project objectives and technical criteria for evaluating project results and activities of the project team.
- Monitors and controls project work to meet the performance objectives defined in the project plan. Focuses on cost and milestone achievement to optimize resource utilization.
- Identifies areas of risk and mitigates risks through early risk assessments and implementation of fallback / mitigation strategies.
- Identify, develop, and gather the resources to complete the project.
- This may include preparing engineering designs and work specifications, developing project schedules, budgets and forecasts, and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors. Uses established PM tools and techniques to stay within authorized budget limits and achieve the overall project and organizational objectives. Understand Project Management tools and methodologies. Understand engineering principles, theories, concepts, practices and techniques.
- Direct the work of project team members, set goals and objectives, monitor progress on tasks. May have direct reports.
- Conduct meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project.
- Set priorities, allocate tasks, and coordinate project staff to meet project targets and milestones.
- Translate business needs into scalable Power BI dashboards and data models that support decision-making across financial, regulatory, and operational domains
- Conduct financial and operational data analysis to evaluate savings potential, monitor project performance, and identify trends or risks impacting business continuity
- Synthesize data-driven insights from cross-functional reports to guide strategic planning, portfolio optimization, and risk mitigation.
- Prepares reports, publishes, makes presentations to communicate findings, and document lessons learned
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in mechanical, industrial, chemical, electrical, bio-medical or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an engineering or operational role
- Problem solving skills
- Experience in leading gross margin, distress inventory reduction, material run-out, compliance projects, and 2nd supplier qualification for class 3 medical devices.
- Experience designing and implementing data frameworks for financial reviews, inventory management, and portfolio analysis.
- Experience in data mapping across multiple system like ERP, PLM, MES, Complaints, SQL querying and analyzing large datasets etc.
- Experience working with a global Data Warehouse (e.g., SAP Business Objects) to use for complex reporting
- Cost accounting experience in a manufacturing setting
- Basic knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Proficiency in data and automation tools such as Python, R, Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate, and Visual Basic to support reporting, analytics, and workflow optimization.
