
Institutional Account Specialist

- Assists in onboarding and retention of new client relationships through correspondence, reports, new account paperwork (new accounts at Custodian, new separately managed accounts, and contracts), and advisory agreements
- Works with CMCs, Financial Advisors, and internal business partners to determine best methods to resolve issues and ensure client satisfaction in a courteous and professional manner while upholding our CAPTRUST culture
- Services existing client relationships (including corresponding, and addressing requests as well as processing money and asset movements, and trade flow requests) with the highest level of service and prompt follow-up with any stakeholders
- Partner with other members of the onboarding team to continuously identify risks and opportunities as it pertains to the onboarding of institutional clients and work together and with management to address effectively
- Build and strengthen relationships with external business partners such as custodians and investment managers to facilitate efficient and accurate execution of any objectives for our shared clients
- Completion of a four-year college degree
- Minimum 6 years of experience working in a Client Service role in the brokerage, investment advisory or financial services environment
- Proficiency in navigating CRM systems and MS Office Suite
- Superior communication and relationship building skills
- Proven track record of attention to detail, efficiency, and accuracy
- Industry relevant FINRA Series licenses such as 6/7 and 63/65/66
- Working knowledge of institutional entities such as Non-profit organizations, Endowments and Foundations, and institutional accounts
- Excellent math skills and the ability to quickly grasp financial and investment concepts
- Organizational and prioritization skills; ability to manage time-sensitive tasks simultaneously
