This role drives cross-functional collaboration, oversees execution and validation plans, and manages stakeholder engagement, regional rollout, and sustainability.Key Job Responsibilities
Manage projects for the underground mining product line
Manage AFC rebuild projects coordinated between several manufacturing locations.
Ensure each project has full project management control, with reporting of progress, status and results against project plans for performance: on time, on scope and on budget.
Deliver the agreed upon outcomes for each project with full responsibility against the project plans.
Support the product management team in project scope limits, estimating and scheduling NPD projects.
Plan and coordinate resources required to execute each project successfully.
Liaise with contractors, employees and management (including engineering, supply chain, sales and commercial functions) to develop relationships that are conducive to the successful completion of the projects.
Plan, execute, and monitor projects from concept to completion by developing detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones.
Comply with Joy Global policy and procedures for project management
Predominant Tasks
Defining the project and project deliverables against timelines and budget.
Manage the development plans including the field testing and validation plans globally.
Manage the inventory fulfillment through the different distribution channels.
Manage the fulfillment with operations which includes manufacturing locations.
Provide continuous visibility to stakeholders and leadership through structured reporting, meeting, and engagement.
Manage the regional introduction plans through training and awareness programs.
Ensure sustainability of the project until the global regions own the outcome.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor of Science Degree in technical or business fundamentals, required.
Advanced degree(s) in engineering, science, and/or business, highly preferred.
3-5 years of experience managing people and/or major projects in industry, required.
3-5 years of experience in mining or machine design, desired.
Sponsorship of effective Change Management implementation, desired.
Certifications or demonstrated project management, required
