Job Description:Assist in the management of Engineering Department with Tanner Health System to maintain the highest possible standards, good public relations with all people concerned. Instill in the administration a feeling of complete trust, security and satisfaction through demonstration of competence and willingness to serve. Seek to establish the best possible public relationship with facility personnel. Enter enthusiastically and cheerfully into facility activities, safety programs, and committees. Maintain the quality standard for plant operations and maintenance through supervision and by performance of production work in support of training activities or production assistance. coordinate the activities and functions of the plant operations and maintenance department such that consistent service is provided. Ensure the fullest cooperation with other managers fostering the administrative supporting team concept and its benefit of strong mutual response. Keep departmental spaces in accordance with the standards of cleanliness and proper appearance. Encourage personal growth of all personnel responsible to the manager and maintenance programs. Handle customer service quickly, thoroughly, personally - turning problems into opportunities to elicit praise. Assist in the control man-hours, materials, purchased services and utility costs. Prepare payroll information for use in preparing employee payroll checks. Maintain all controls - plant operations log, operating records, weekly inspections, monthly summary, monthly joint review meetings, daily hour control, safety and systems in accordance with the facility's directives. Attend committee meetings to which assigned and contribute to discussion. Grow personally in job and conduct self ethically at all times to enhance the image of Tanner health System. Responsible for Signage system, install signs during new construction or renovations. duties in the Environment of Care include meeting preparation data collection and organization.Education High School Diploma or GEDExperience Four years of related experience. Requires broad knowledge of complex systems and procedures.Licenses & Certifications *Driver's LicenseQualifications *Ability to read safety rules and instructions, ability to read and interpret written instructions *Ability to speak clearly and distinctly primarily to convey problems and work status to others *Ability to write summarize work progress in report order form, write for content more important than grammatical correctness *Must be knowledgeable of the Life Safety Code both current and past. *Must be willing to learn
