Sr Electrical EngineerExpert Technical Solutions is seeking a Sr Electrical Engineer for one of our industry leading clients based out of Atlanta, GA (Duluth). This person will report directly to our client’s Firmware / Electrical Engineering Manager. In this role, you will design and develop next-generation hardware automation platforms and intelligent sensor-integrated systems that power our client’s advanced robotic and industrial solutions.In this hands-on, high-impact role, you’ll lead the design and integration of electrical and embedded hardware systems across mechanical, software, and sensor technologies—playing a key role in innovation and performance optimization.This is a Permanent, HYBRID (4 days onsite with WFH on Fridays) opportunity offering competitive pay and outstanding growth potential.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop integrated electrical-mechanical-software systems for robotics and automation applications.
Build advanced embedded hardware platforms using MCUs, FPGAs, real-time controllers, and motion control systems.
Support firmware development for ARM-based SoCs
Develop and tune control algorithms for robotics, motor control, and system feedback (e.g., PID).
Design and optimize PCBs, power electronics, and circuit layouts with a focus on scalability and reliability.
Integrate machine vision, LiDAR, and sensor fusion technologies into robust automation platforms.
Prototype, test, debug, and refine functional systems through hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and real-time diagnostics.
Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, mechanical, and software teams to ensure seamless system integration.
