Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects, is currently seeking a full time licensed Senior Electrical Engineer in our Albuquerque, NM office. The candidate will be an experienced design engineer and the team leader, providing mentoring and technician assistance to a team.Roles and Responsibilities:Lead electrical engineer of projectsProject managementVerification and technical review of designsProvide design, design management, specifications, and studies of industrial type projectsDeveloping good client relationshipsMarketing for new projectsInvolvement in preparation of engineering fees for procurement of projectsTypical projects include:Railroad fueling facilities, maintenance facilities, loading and unloading facilities.Petroleum industry facilities.Vertical building designs, such as schools.Power distribution and wiring.PLC controls.Water, wastewater, and industrial waste facilities.Required Experience:Minimum of eight (8) years experience on similar projectsBachelors of Science or Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering or related subjectCurrent PE LicenseExcellent organizational and communication skillsExperience as a Senior Electrical Engineer or the ability to step up into the position, overseeing multi-disciplinary rail / industrial projectsProven experience in electrical projects from a design perspective including power systems (primary and secondary), substations, LV power distribution, control system design including SCADA systems, and lighting designAn understanding of building codes and construction issuesAbout Us:For nearly a century, Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects, has provided award-winning engineering, architecture, planning, environmental, surveying, geospatial, and construction management services.
