This Team Member is expected to provide excellent guest service to all stakeholders and help cultivate a memorable event experience. There will be game day responsibilities for home volleyball and basketball games. This position will also have a large role in supporting daily operations and facility upkeep.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Perform operating procedures relating to events and programs
Support all aspects of gameday operations
Assist in performing preventative maintenance work
Assist with monitoring quality control of vendor performance
Consistently communicate issues and relevant updates to direct supervisor
Greet all guests and stakeholders according to our Guest 1st Service model standards
Act as a liaison between the venue and the guests
Assist with ensuring all buildings under management scope are clean, safe, and guest-ready
Help maintain and keep inventory of department asset
Assist in making sure all game day equipment is in proper working order
Adhere to all facility and SFM policies and procedures
Adhere to all local, state, health and safety laws
Perform additional duties as requested by management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays and long hours) and regular attendance necessary
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Must have excellent guest service skills
Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations
Must be respectful and friendly
Must work well with others
Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and venue
Commitment to the safety and well-being of others
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist high
May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend
Facility has intermittent noise
