
Quality Control Technician

- Maintain a quality presence on the production floor, spending 75% of your time ensuring compliance.
- Conduct lab testing using a FOSS machine for moisture, fats, and salt, along with pH testing.
- Perform sanitation audits during the 3rd shift, focusing on quality aspects.
- Serve as a QC auditor on the production floor.
- Collaborate with production, packaging, and scale room supervisors, as well as the Sanitation Manager.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with different departments via email.
- High school diploma with 1-3 years of experience in the food industry.
- Experience under GMP regulations, with GDP and SQF as a plus.
- Trustworthy, independent, and self-motivated worker.
- Ability to enforce procedures and act as a 'police' on shift.
- Strong communication skills for inter-departmental correspondence.
- Further education in food science is beneficial.
- Bilingual skills in Spanish is preferred.
- Internal auditing experience and HACCP knowledge are advantageous.
