Duration:- Newark, DE- Lead the development, implementation, and management of complex Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) programs across multiple facilities or high-risk operational areas.
- Ensure full compliance with corporate, local, state, and federal EH&S regulations and standards.
- Conduct and lead EH&S compliance audits, proactively identifying and mitigating hazards across multiple sites.
- Manage workplace safety incident investigations, including root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventative action planning.
- Develop and implement new EH&S policies, programs, and procedures in alignment with corporate safety goals.
- Serve as the EH&S liaison for management, employees, and cross-functional teams to promote a strong safety culture.
- Oversee hazardous waste management, ensuring safe handling, disposal, and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in emergency response planning, crisis management, and business continuity initiatives for assigned locations.
- Design and deliver advanced EH&S training programs and compliance refresher sessions for employees and supervisors.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to Corporate EH&S, utilizing data analytics for performance improvement.
- Mentor junior EHS specialists and support site safety teams with complex EH&S challenges.
- Act in the absence of the site EHS Manager to ensure continuity of safety programs and compliance.
- Support sustainability initiatives such as waste reduction, energy efficiency, and environmental impact assessments.
- Perform additional EH&S-related functions as required to meet business needs.
