
Financial Analyst I

- Reporting: Lead quarterly, monthly, weekly, and daily reporting as necessary, developing deep foundational knowledge on key performance metrics. Identify and communicate both quantitative and qualitative impacts upwards to leadership and other key stakeholders.
- Monthly Forecast Management: In partnership with cross-functional business partners, develop and execute financial plans. Contribute to monthly forecasting meetings with partners, asking questions to drive thoughtful decision-making.
- Month-end Closure Support: In partnership with accounting business partners, support the monthly period close process by acting as an intermediary with the operational side of the business. Provide expense forecast information, actual expense estimates, and variance explanations where needed.
- Annual Budget Planning: In partnership with cross-functional business partners, support annual budget planning and multi-year long-term planning initiatives. Coordinate with partners to determine overhead expense needs and understand the ultimate impact on the bottom-line financials.
- Ad-hoc Analytics: Support miscellaneous analytics projects as needed by queuing existing systems for data, consolidating, and analyzing the data, and providing insights to solve the question at hand.

- Education: Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- Work Experience: 0-2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- Proficient in MS Office including Excel and Powerpoint, MS Power BI experience preferred but not required
- SAP or Business Intelligence systems knowledge is a plus
- Background in compiling data, creating queries and replicable reports
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
- Maintains high level of accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter and intellectually curious
- Desire to see personal and organizational effort lead to bottom line results
- Comfortable working independently and in collaborative manner in a cross-functional environment
- Prior budgeting and forecasting experience preferred, not required
- Working Conditions: This role requires six days (6) per month in the corporate office in Bolingbrook, IL.
