As a Senior Quality Engineer, you’ll be integral to our production operations, leading quality initiatives that ensure our motor products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.This role will lead factory Quality within our Red Ink facility, where you’ll provide hands-on technical leadership, drive root cause analysis, and implement robust quality systems directly on the production floor. You’ll be empowered to take ownership of quality challenges, collaborate across engineering and manufacturing teams, and deliver solutions that make a real impact.You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:New Product Development (NPD) & Production ReadinessLead quality engineering activities for NPD and CI projectsEnsure system-level validation, component qualification, and supplier readinessPrepare and maintain control plans based on PFMEA and CTQ’sReview and qualify production fixtures (Cpk, GR&R)Support DFMA and Critical Dimension Assessment (CDA) reviews with cross-functional teamsEngage in global transfer and duplication projectsMass Production (MP) & Quality AssuranceManage production line quality issues, minimizing line stops and abnormalitiesConduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement containment actions utilizing 8D methodologyManage non-conforming product quarantine and trackingPerform GR&R, Cpk studies, and SPC monitoringImplement systemic corrective actions and poka-yoke systemsDocument lessons learned and provide feedback to stakeholders for CICustomer Satisfaction & Continuous ImprovementDrive continuous improvement aligned with quality KPIsCoordinate internal audits and monitor audit performanceSupport engineering changes and failure analysis activitiesCreate and present quality reports at organizational and corporate levelsWhat TOOLS you’ll bring with you:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial EngineeringMinimum 5 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in motor or metal product manufacturingAbility to travel Internationally (China, Vietnam, Mexico). Total travel 10%Technical KnowledgeProficient in ISO9000, TS16949 standardsStrong understanding of SPC, FMEA, DOE, GD&T, and QC toolsFamiliarity with Minitab, Microsoft Office, and drawing interpretationBasic knowledge of electronics, electronics manufacturing, and ESDOther TOOLS we prefer you to have:Bilingual (English and Mandarin or Vietnamese preferred)Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsAnalytical thinking and decision-making capabilitiesAbility to train and develop staffAt Milwaukee Tool, we're invested in your well-being.
