We combine the agility and drive of a start-up with the scale and customer-centric mindset of one of the world's leading technology companies.As a Software Developer on the Enterprise Management Services team, you will play a key role in developing the technology platform that powers our Engineering Services cloud offerings. As a core contributor and technical lead, you will help design and deliver our DevOps and Cloud services. You'll work closely with a talented team of software engineers dedicated to building, expanding, and scaling our services.The Enterprise Management Services team builds the services that support both internal and external platforms for overlay DevOps solutions. Our work spans the entire technology stack-from large-scale, back-end distributed DevOps services, to customer-facing platforms, and cloud-native OCI services.This role is ideal for someone with experience designing distributed systems, developing, and troubleshooting across the stack (including UI, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure), promoting operational excellence, mentoring junior engineers, and driving improvements to our development processes-all within a dynamic, start-up-like environment.This position is required to be local in the Nashville office 5 days per week.Responsibilities:As a Software Developer 4, you will take a leadership role in designing and delivering advanced software solutions across diverse technology domains and cloud platforms. Experienced cloud technology professional skilled in working across multiple cloud platforms, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, and Azure, you bring a proven ability to guide and translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. You will collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to provide strategic direction, manage, and mentor teams, and oversee end-to-end delivery of complex cloud projects. Your responsibilities include driving technical designs, upholding high code quality through reviews and mentorship, and championing automation and CI/CD pipeline optimization. Adept at stakeholder engagement, project management, and aligning technical initiatives with organizational objectives, you will foster best-in-class security and coding standards, proactively resolve technical challenges, and drive successful outcomes and operational excellence across all projects.Basic Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
  • 5+ years' experience with software development and object-oriented programming with proficiency in at least one language such as Java, C++, C#, .Net, Go, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems systematically, communicate effectively, take ownership of tasks, and show strong initiative. Sound fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
  • Experience with designing, launching and maintaining distributed systems at scale
  • Expertise in building web applications, designing REST APIs and proficient in SQL, relational databases
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience developing services on a public cloud platform (e.g., Oracle, AWS, Azure)
  • Building continuous integration/deployment pipelines with robust testing and deployment schedules
  • Experience with virtualization and orchestration stacks
  • Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable software is a plus
  • Experience mentoring junior team members or participating in peer code reviews

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
