Job Type: [Insert Full-time/Part-time/Contract — if known]Job Description:Westview Health Care Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Rehab Therapy team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients, helping them improve their ability to perform daily living and working activities.Responsibilities:Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing treatment plans to help patients regain skills and improve mobilityDeliver therapeutic exercises and activities tailored to patient goalsMonitor and document patient progress and communicate updates to the therapy teamEducate patients and families on techniques for continued care at homeEnsure a safe and supportive environment for all patientsAdhere to all federal, state, and facility regulations and policiesQualifications:Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)Active license to practice in the state of WyomingAssociate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant programPrior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
