Adecco Staffing is hiring Machine Operators for a manufacturing company specializing in lighting fixtures. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term career potential for the right candidate!Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (Monday-Thursday) - Enjoy a 3-day weekend every week!Job Summary:Operate a variety of machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment producing lighting fixtures.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Operate machines such as sheet metal punching, forming, drilling, tapping, cutting, and bending.Use appropriate measuring instruments and hand tools for assigned tasks.Strive to meet planned work center times in the ERP system and perform transactions accurately.Collaborate with other departments to accomplish tasks and maintain professional communication.Apply all applicable safety requirements and maintain a clean, safe work area.Job Knowledge & Skills:Minimum 2 years of machine shop experience.High school diploma or equivalent required.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Familiarity with standard manufacturing processes.Strong English communication skills (read, write, speak).Physical Demands:Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch frequently.Regularly lift/move up to 25 lbs., occasionally up to 50 lbs.Close vision required for detailed work.Work Environment:Manufacturing and warehouse setting.Routine exposure to a noisy environment.Why Work for Adecco?Weekly pay with direct deposit.Access to free upskilling and training opportunities.Temp-to-hire position with long-term career growth potential.Consistent schedule with 3-day weekends off!Pay Details: $17.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
