
Senior Manager Accounting Research

- Oversee the company’s accounting research function, including SEC reporting, 10k and 10q filings, and FASB pronouncements.
- Manage a team of accounting professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments, including legal, treasury, and investor relations, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Research and interpret complex accounting issues and provide guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting standards and regulations, including changes to SEC rules and regulations.
- Prepare and review financial statements and other financial disclosures.
- Participate in the development of accounting policies and procedures.
- Communicate with external auditors and other stakeholders to address accounting-related questions and issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on SEC reporting and research.
- Thorough understanding of US GAAP and SEC regulations.
- Strong knowledge of FASB pronouncements and accounting standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex accounting issues to non-accounting stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
