Your responsibilitiesJob SummaryReporting to the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor, the Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for the accurate entry of materials and goods received into inventory. The ideal person will be informed and organized in documentation of transactions and thrives as a materials coordinator (Shipping, damaged goods, returns). We're looking for a Shipping & Receiving Specialist who's ready to take ownership of logistics operations and contribute to a dynamic, supportive team. If you take pride in accuracy, efficiency, and doing things the right way - we want to hear from you!What You'll Do:
  • Keep accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Ensure safe, secure, and compliant packaging for all outbound materials.
  • Process shipments in line with internal guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Review and interpret shipping documents, invoices, and orders to prioritize and assign tasks.
  • Handle international documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Communicate professionally with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
  • Maintain clean, organized records and assist with administrative duties.
  • Support a culture of safety by following all protocols and reporting any incidents.
  • Work hands-on on the warehouse floor, often around heavy machinery.
  • Take on additional tasks as needed under the guidance of the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor.
What You Bring:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs
  • Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Previous warehouse experience (forklift, packing, and measuring).
  • A safety-first mindset and CPR/First Aid training is a plus.
  • Knowledge of shipping processes, metals handling, and documentation.
  • Experience with SAP, ISO standards, and lean practices is a big advantage.
