Try new things, learn new skills and discover what you excel at—all from Day One.Job DescriptionThe Automation & Process Improvement Manager will be accountable for managing a small team of developers responsible for the design, development, and implementation of small/mid-sized Applications and Process Automations. These projects may span across multiple areas of the Enterprise Fraud Strategy organization. They will also be responsible for the development and implementation of standards/best practices and maturing the development approach to include the adoption of separation of duties and segregation of environments. They will work with management and other pillars of Fraud Reporting & Data Strategy to contribute to an inter-departmental cross-training program and ensure knowledge is shared across team members in relation to application and automation deliverables, functionality, and data produced/administered via applications and automations developed. They will monitor adherence to departmental procedures and ensure the proper controls/processes are established and documented. Critical to success is the ability to build partnerships across multiple levels of the organization, understand Fraud processes and accountabilities, and understand the regulations/policies/controls our business partners must adhere to.Key Activities:Manage the Application and Automation project portfolio, delegate development tasks, and ensure developers are meeting established timelinesMentor development team and enhance departmental best practices, tools, and development approachesPresent persuasively and authoritatively to business partners and senior leadership, to select appropriate solutions to optimize business processes, and ensure prioritization of desired development efforts aligns to overall Fraud Strategy and Fraud Reporting & Data Strategy roadmapsPartner with Reporting and Infrastructure teams to design optimal data structures that support application/automation functionality as well as downstream reporting needsAid developers, when needed, to ensure all development timelines are met or exceededStrong ability to prioritize, delegate, and simultaneously work across multiple projects and deliverablesRegularly and effectively report status, opportunities, and challenges to Senior LeadershipBasic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically more than 10 years of development experience across multiple disciplines including front-end user interface design/development, automation design/development, back-end data structure/repository design/development- Advanced knowledge of Power Platform (PowerApps, PowerAutomate, PowerBI)- Established experience with process automation leveraging tools/languages including PowerShell, Python, or SAS- Advanced knowledge building applications/automations that interface with multiple data platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, Sharepoint, Dataverse, etc)Preferred Skills/Experience
