Controls Assembler

- Read and interpret electrical schematics, panel layout, and general arrangement drawings
- Measure, layout, and assemble enclosure doors, sub-panels, terminal blocks, relays, and other control components
- Cut, strip, crimp, bend, and route wiring in accordance with drawings and electrical standards
- Perform point-to-point wiring, cable routing, conduit bending, and component mounting on skids
- Follow all standard fabrication and assembly practices, including proper labeling and documentation
- Execute wiring and terminations with accuracy and consistency
- Identify and communicate quality issues, material defects, or design discrepancies to the Controls Assembly Lead or the Electrical Engineer of record
- Complete red-line markups on electrical drawings to reflect the as-built conditions
- Assist with fabrication or assembly work outside the electrical area when needed
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace and comply with all shop safety proceduresControls Assembler Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–3 years of experience in electrical assembly, wiring, or panel fabrication in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and electrical assembly equipment (wire strippers, crimpers, drills, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction from team leads and supervisors
- Familiarity with 24VDC, 120VAC, and 480VAC/3 phase circuits
- Experience in UL508A panel assembly is a plus
- Exposure to water treatment, pump control systems, or similar process environments is a plusracine@qpsemployment.comIND012About us:
