- Preferably 2-5 years of sales experience in flooring, construction, or home improvement-but if you're a quick learner with a strong customer focus and drive to succeed, we still want to hear from you!
- A strong customer-first mindset and ability to build lasting relationships
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and follow-through skills
- A self-starter attitude with a goal-oriented, team-player spirit
- Negotiating and closing sales while meeting company profitability standards
- Building strong client relationships to encourage repeat and referral business
- Collaborating with installation and service teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Staying up-to-date on trends, new products, and competitive offerings
- Prospecting for new business opportunities to grow your customer base
- Stay informed on industry trends, new product offerings, and competitor activity to provide knowledgeable recommendations and stay ahead of the curve
- Confidently guide customers through the sales process-negotiating, closing deals, and ensuring profitability while delivering top-tier service
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients to drive repeat business and long-term customer loyalty
- Actively network and prospect within the community to identify new opportunities and expand the client base
- Collaborate closely with installation and service teams to ensure a smooth, successful project from sale to completion
- Strong customer service, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills-you know how to connect with people and earn their trust
- A valid driver's license and flexibility to travel locally as needed to meet with clients or attend job sites
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's or bachelor's degree is a plus
- Comfortable using technology and familiar with CRM systems or other sales tools to manage leads and track progress
- Ideally, 3 years of sales experience-especially in a customer-facing or consultative role
