- Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers in the distribution center related to receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, shipping and inventory control.
- Plan daily work schedule based upon customer requirements and adjusts as necessary.
- Ensure operational productivity and effectiveness levels are set, maintained, and continuously improved for all Associates.
- Provide orientation, coaching and training to assigned personnel on departmental processes and systems.
- Identify and address performance issues within the team.
- Promote Safety culture by participating in onsite Safety Committee activities and implementing & maintaining safety protocols and procedures.
- Foster a team environment through motivation and positive feedback of associates and through active communication.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize distribution processes and to achieve daily operational goals.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis and issues corrective actions to prevent the re-occurrence of issues affecting DC performance
- Ensure 5S & housekeeping standards are met daily.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement Projects and events.
- Attend daily MDI (Managing Daily Improvement) meetings.
- All other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent experience
- Experience leading teams in a fast-paced Distribution Center or Warehouse environment
- Knowledge of distribution processes, inventory control, lean manufacturing/Continuous Improvement, and ERP/WMS systems.
- Strong leadership and verbal & written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Must be proficient in the use of MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.

- Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Noise and Dust: The environment may be noisy and dusty due to the movement of goods and machinery.
