Successful Engineering Program Managers are responsible for shipping new features. We're looking for people with the ability to ship complex, customer-facing products under demanding timelines. This is a hands-on position where the Program Manager will be involved in requirements analysis, functional and technical design discussions, testing, proof-of-concept, working with partners, and more.   • Drive and ship large, multi-functional programs and feature areas • Lead all aspects of multiple concurrent features including scope, requirements, timelines, and resource allocation • Day-to-day will include program managing, execution, risk assessments, in order to meet the overall program goals • Foster collaboration across a broad team of cross-functional partners to formulate roadmap and manage intake pipeline • Take a role in improving how features are built and executed in the Apple Media Products organization • Help set the strategy and communicate status and issues to stakeholders at all levels • Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Data Science, QA, Legal, Finance, Privacy, Anti-Fraud, Business Operations and other organizations to develop and improve Apple Media Products' suite of features
Minimum Qualifications
  • Program or technical product management in software development
  • 5+ years of program management and experience taking features through the complete software development life cycle
  • 2+ years of people management
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, and logical structuring abilities
  • Best-in-class communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) to all levels of an organization
  • Proven track record of shipping complex customer facing and backend projects under demanding timelines
  • Built global products by collaborating across product, engineering, data sciences, analytics, design and other key stakeholders
  • Ability to turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into solid action plans
  • Strong facilitation skills (requirements sessions, design meetings, progress and status meetings)
  • Strong technical proficiency with program experience in Search and/or Recommendations preferred
  • Experience working with a global team
  • Strong ability to multi-task
  • A/B testing experience
Pay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $176,600 and $313,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
