- Provides Economic Value Added (EVA) based financial analysis for new and potential projects.
- Creates financial models on Excel spreadsheets for analysing and solving new and unique business problems and/or opportunities. Presents to management the results of the analysis of business situations.
- Identifies and executes on continuous improvement opportunities.
- Own financial processes around key financial statement line items. This includes budget, forecast and month-end reporting, while working alongside business partners to deliver the company goals.
- Presents to management the results of the analysis of business situations.
- Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the division, the group, and the company. Includes the ability to handle stress and to interact with others to establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment and minimize personal conflicts.
- Regular and predictable attendance is required between the assigned start and end times of work.
- Updates calculations for customer pricing for items related to contract administration and changes in customer cost components (e.g. LME administration, Inflation, changes to ingot conversion cost, etc.)
- Ad-hoc projects so as other tasks in line with company needs
- Assures and maintains safe and healthful working conditions while enforcing safety rules and regulations.
- Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college or work-related experience
- Job related experience for 5 year(s) minimum
- Ability to apply intensive and diversified evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard finance techniques, procedures, and criteria.
- Working knowledge of the following areas:
- Finance, Essbase, Economic Value Added (EVA),
- Business and economic principles and practices
- Financial modeling
- Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, JDE One World and other applicable software applications
- Hybrid On-Site Work Environment: Based in Colorado, this position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site for three (3) or more days per work week (with core collaboration days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). [Travel and local commute between Ball locations and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.]
- Hiring Salary Range: $74,600 - $104,160 (Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
