Temporary Summer Cleaner positions available; both full time and part time during first shift. Due to the temporary nature of these positions, there are no benefits.Position begins July 1, 2023 - August 16, 2024. Perfect summer position for college students, flexible hours may be accommodated.
SALARY: $15.69 per hourQUALIFICATIONS:A. Candidate should be able to read and write English and follow written and oral instructions.B. Consideration will be given to the following:1. References that indicate the candidate demonstrate courtesy in dealing with students, parents, teachers, principals, superintendents and the general public.2. A basic knowledge of general cleaning methods.3. A good work record.4. Must be in good physical health to successfully perform required duties.REPORTS TO: Designated supervisorGENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Cleaner will be responsible for the cleaning of rest rooms, classrooms, offices and other assigned areas, and will record and report maintenance jobs to the supervisor.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:A. Within the Building1. Wet and dry mop floors, vacuum rugs, dust and polish furniture, lockers, and special equipment.2. Clean all glass surfaces and windows in interior of building.3. Wash walls, furniture, toilet fixtures, partitions and other equipment.4. Replace lavatory supplies.5. Dispose of waste paper and rubbish.6. Communicate with supervisor any problems in your area.7. Stock shelves with adequate supplies to perform duties.8. Set up and clean before and after school activities.
9. Performs related duties as assigned by the supervisor.B. Adjacent to the Building1. Sweeps sidewalk areas, picks up debris from the grounds, shovels snow, and sands sidewalk as required during the normally scheduled workday.2. Weed flower and shrub beds and rakes leaves.3.
