- Work in all aspects of print and digital design from idea creation to production.
- Ensure design assets reflect the overall brand and visual identity.
- Develop an understanding of Murata's products, technologies, and target markets, as well as external marketing, corporate, and internal communications strategies.
- Conceptualize and create compelling visual designs for digital, print, and multimedia platforms, including but not limited to brochures, flyers, posters, social media graphics, website layouts, presentations, tradeshow booth graphics, photo retouching, and the ability to create line art/drawings.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and timelines.
- Develop and maintain brand consistency across all design projects.
- Produce high-quality designs that effectively communicate key messages and engage target audiences.
- Stay updated on design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve skills and workflow efficiency.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas, provide feedback, and iterate on designs to ensure alignment.
- Prepare files for production and ensure proper formatting and specifications are met for printing and digital distribution.
- Understand digital asset management strategies and implementation.
- Support the marketing team with additional design tasks as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field.
- Proven experience as a graphic designer with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD) and other relevant design software.
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
- Proactive attitude with strong collaboration skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills; confidence to direct, counsel, and influence partners across various organizations.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
- Creative and original ideas paired with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with web design and UI/UX principles.
- Frequent local, domestic, and infrequent international travel.
