- Build and lead a team of maintenance technicians to provide manufacturing support.
- Lead, manage, and develop the maintenance team, including technicians, engineers, and support staff.
- Plan and implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained in safe, efficient operating condition.
- Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and procurement.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and safety teams to support operational goals.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment failures.
- Support capital projects, equipment installations, and facility upgrades.
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for scheduling, tracking, and reporting maintenance activities.
- Monitor KPIs and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
- Support the implementation of 5S / Lean Manufacturing Initiatives inside the company
- The role will require the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic/fast-paced work environment.
- Manage and assign Maintenance Technicians resources to project roles and requirements as requested by the leaders in the company.
- Provides leadership, guidance, and support to all maintenance staff.
- Hires new Maintenance Technicians as needed
- Counsel, mentor and assist with Maintenance Technicians that are performing below the expected standards
- Report on metrics that measure the impact of Maintenance Technician team on the larger organization and uses the metrics to guide decision making
- Interface with internal and external customers, program offices, engineering disciplines, and executive management as needed
- Stay abreast of changes in technology that will improve the company's technical capabilities.
- Create leaner, more efficient and more profitable business practices.
- 6 years of Maintenance/Engineering work experience, including 3 years of experience in a leadership capacity, or a combination of education, training, and relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing facilities machines and equipment such as CNC, furnaces, Vibratory Tables.
- Proficient in CMMS and maintenance planning tools.
- Experience with manufacturing electrical and mechanical systems equipment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S and other process improvement methodologies.
- Experience in DOD a plus.
- Excellent people management and mentoring skills including coaching, interviewing, and providing feedback and recognition.
- Knowledge of company people management policies and procedures, including hiring, performance management, corrective action, and compensation administration

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent experience.
