Job Description:Job DescriptionWe are seeking a hardworking Housekeeper to join our team at Best Western Adams Inn. This is a Part Time position located in Quincy MA. As a Housekeeper you will be responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms and hotel public spaces, have a strong attention to detail, and provide exceptional customer service.Work PerformedAs a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of the entire hotel to create a memorable and unique experience for our guests.
  • Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing bed linens, restocking room supplies, vacuuming, and dusting
  • Report and return any guest properties that were left behind
  • Report cases of property damage to supervisor
  • Work with a team of housekeepers on each shift
  • Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order
  • Work with other staff members to ensure that all guest rooms meet hotel standards and accommodate any special guest needs
  • Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent experience
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required
  • Continuous standing 90% of time
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs. limited
  • Pushing up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
  • Hours required: Part Time 25-30 hour shift; AM; Mid; Weekends; Holidays; scheduled days and times may vary based on need
  • Sundays are a must
Additional Preferred Skills/Qualities
  • Previous customer facing experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Second language is a plus
