The Product Implementation Specialist performs a variety of duties including but not limited to timely and accurate implementation of new group product selections, product/benefit changes, and cancellations for groups product changes. Maintain current information of all group transactions utilizing multiple systems including but not limited to Intelligroup, Sale to Mail, and Siebel. Responsible for end to end group processes including product assignment and ensuring that all internal and external business areas are engaged when decisions or changes are needed.Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day to day items that are routine in nature to complete necessary processing of group requests
- Supports the end-to-end process pertaining to Group & member enrollment activities. Performs escalated triage activities, i.e. conducts research, data collection, analysis, and problem resolution as required.
- Responsible for efficient and accurate assignment of product
- Accountable for complete development cycle of SR's from writing requirements analysis through implementation, ensuring product benefit changes are implemented to group request.
- Understands core systems, requirements, regulations from a core end to end perspective
- Proactively identifies system risks/issues as they occur and provides recommendations for remediation
- Analyzes current benefit packages and rates, identifies discrepancies from what the group should have, work with appropriate departments to ensure changes are made.
- Proactively identifies and addresses risks on products before they become customer facing issues
- Performs analysis and assessments of processes ensuring fit into policies and strategies that align with Health Plan goals and provide the best customer experience.
- Works with the supervisor and team members to identify, create and document process improvements.

- Performs other functions as assigned by management.
- Associates Degree in related field and one year of experience with end-to-end product review. In lieu of degree, three years end-to-end product related work experience.
- Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion, retain composure under pressure and reflect a pleasant, courteous manner at all times
- Demonstrated PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Must be able to problem solve and manage major projects as assigned
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment
- Proven oral and written communication skills required
