A senior-level opportunity to join a premier Minneapolis legal team. This role demands advanced expertise in litigation calendaring systems and court rules. You will be a key leader, responsible for ensuring docketing accuracy, mentoring staff, and supporting firm-wide compliance initiatives.Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret legal documents to identify and calendar critical deadlines across multiple jurisdictions.
- Accurately create and update events in Aderant CompuLaw, performing manual date calculations as necessary.
- Maintain precise docket databases and generate custom reports for litigation teams.
- Proactively research, monitor, and track changes to federal, state, and local court rules.
- Develop training materials and mentor junior docketing staff on best practices and procedural updates.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and court personnel to resolve complex docketing inquiries.
- Support the Docketing Manager with special projects and firm-wide docketing initiatives.
Education:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience is preferred.
- 5–7 years of direct litigation docketing experience.
- Proven, hands-on experience with CompuLaw (Aderant), CourtAlert, or eDockets is required.
- Demonstrated experience in training, mentoring, or leading a docketing team.
- Strong knowledge of civil litigation processes and procedures.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Skilled in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) credential is a strong plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Salary: $38.46 - $43.59 per hour (commensurate with experience)
