
Construction Project Controls Manager – Semiconductor

- Lead cost control processes including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Manage change orders, contingency drawdowns, and cost variance analysis.
- Reconcile actual costs with GMP and schedule of values.
- Oversee invoice processing, accruals, journal entries, and depreciation settlements.
- Maintain owner cost tracking systems and benchmarking databases.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Track schedule progress in the field and produce earned value and milestone reports.
- Coordinate with contractors to ensure alignment on progress and deliverables.
- Implement and manage change control processes, including trend logs and impact assessments.
- Attend and lead cost and risk meetings; maintain risk registers and mitigation plans.
- Produce weekly and monthly reports for internal and client stakeholders.
- Prepare executive-level presentations on project performance.
- Maintain comprehensive records including change orders, invoices, lien releases, and closeout documentation.
- Support development and execution of RFPs, SOWs, and service agreements.
- Track supplier delivery plans and ensure alignment with project schedules.
- Coordinate PO closures and ensure compliance with contract terms and financial targets.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and supply chain teams.
- Lead and mentor junior project controls staff and/or third-party consultants.
- Foster a safety-first culture and ensure QA/QC standards are upheld.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in project controls, cost engineering, or construction estimating.
- Experience with Power BI required.
- Proven experience on large, complex construction projects, preferably in semiconductor, high-tech, or heavy industrial sectors.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Excel, and cloud-based project management tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Professional certifications such as PMP or CCP are a plus.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule with regular on-site presence in Chandler, AZ.
