
Electrical Engineer

- Design and develop electrical systems and controls for custom machinery.
- Create detailed electrical schematics and wiring diagrams using CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks Electrical.
- Select and specify components such as sensors, actuators, controllers, and power systems.
- Program PLCs, HMIs, and other control systems as needed.
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electrical systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate electrical systems into overall machinery designs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of designs, revisions, and system configurations.
- Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning of machinery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or an associate degree combined with relevant experience in the electrical field.
- Experience in designing and troubleshooting industrial electrical systems and controls.
- Proficiency in electrical CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.
- Knowledge of PLC programming and control system design.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as NEC, UL, and CE.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience in the HVAC or custom machinery industry is a plus.
- Ability to read schematics and perform schematic design.
- Panel design experience using 2D AutoCAD.
- Troubleshooting skills with no preference in PLC software.
- SolidWorks and ladder logic knowledge.
- HMI programming experience is a nice to have.
- Component selection expertise.
- Experience managing PLC programs for a manufacturing facility.
- Experience with cross-functional communication among engineering teams.
