Industry: Financial Kopius is actively seeking an enthusiastic Sr DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team! The project is within the Financial Markets industry and is based in New York. The team develops a platform that organize securities into three markets based on the quality and quantity of information companies disclose.Key Responsibilities:
- Productionize the orchestration of containerized services via autoscaling, security, cost-optimization, and New Relic monitoring
- Author multi-region Terraform modules for services like ECS, RDS, and S3.
- Compose CI/CD compatible Git flow, tagging strategy, and software development life cycle then supported cross-organization implementation.
- Implement deployment pipelines to deliver containerized artifacts and associated infrastructure reliably using blue/green methodologies and automatic rollback.
- Orchestrate data streaming platform on Kubernetes (EKS) by using StatefulSets, custom CSI drivers, and Kustomize based delivery pipelines.
- Intermediate/Advanced English skills with strong communication abilities.
- Self-motivated, quick learner, and adaptable to new technologies and legacy systems.

- Strong experience with AWS, Python and Kubernetes.
- Ability to conduct research and development independently.
- Extensive experience with AWS services: EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, MSK, Batch, Kubernetes (EKS).
- Proficiency in container management: Kubernetes, ECS (EC2 & Fargate), ECR.
- Expertise in IaC tools: Terraform, Terragrunt, CloudFormation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and workflows: Jenkins, GitHub.
- Proficiency in Python (mandatory) and one or more languages: Groovy, Bash, HCL, NodeJs, SQL.
- Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools: CloudWatch, New Relic, PagerDuty.
- Basic understanding of networking: VPC, ELB, API Gateway, CloudFront, Route53.
- Familiarity with databases: Aurora PostgreSQL, MySQL, and tools like Artifactory.
- Knowledge of Nginx and system reliability best practices.
