Job Summary:
The Maintenance Manager at Rupal Hospitality in Niagara Falls, New York is a full-time, individual contributor role responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of maintenance for our hospitality and restaurant properties. This includes ensuring the upkeep and repairs of facilities, equipment, and grounds, as well as managing the maintenance team and vendors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management within the hospitality industry, as well as excellent organizational and leadership skills.Compensation & Benefits:
The salary for this position is $52,000 to $55,000 per year, paid weekly.   • Oversee and manage all maintenance operations for our hospitality and restaurant properties
  • Create and implement maintenance schedules and protocols to ensure properties are properly maintained and all equipment is in good working condition
  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance team and outside contractors to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and address any maintenance issues
  • Maintain and update records of maintenance activities, including expenses, inventory, and work orders
  • Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and repair projects
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and requirements
  • Communicate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and address any issues or concerns
  • Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and prolong the life of equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any maintenance issues that arise
  • Train and develop maintenance team members to ensure their skills and knowledge are up-to-date and in line with company standards
  • Collaborate with property management and corporate senior leadership to identify and implement cost-saving strategies and process improvements
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, techniques, and equipment
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
  • Proficient knowledge in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC and general repairs
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
