Heavy emphasis will be placed on technical, financial, and schedule performance to meet customer requirements for on-time delivery and quality.What You'll Do
  • Own the full product lifecycle: concept, requirements, design, prototyping, verification/validation, pilot builds, and ramp to volume.
  • Hit the triple constraint: manage scope, schedule, and cost; track budgets, burn rates, and margins; process change orders and recoverables.
  • Create and maintain detailed MS Project schedules with precise task durations, % allocations, dependencies, and resource plans (no EVM required).
  • Lead customer interface: proposals/quotes, SOW alignment, status reviews, risks/issues, and change management.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams: electrical, mechanical, firmware/embedded, test engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.
  • Manage NPI/EMS workflows: BOM and AVL control, ECNs, DFM/DFA feedback, prototype phases (alpha/beta; EVT/DVT/PVT), and test fixture development.
  • Anticipate supply chain impacts: plan around material lead times, substitutions, and last-time-buys to protect schedule and cost.
  • Ensure quality & compliance: adhere to ISO 9001; support audits; uphold documentation, traceability, and build history requirements (GMP/regulated experience a plus).
  • Report with clarity: internal and customer-facing status, KPI dashboards, risk registers, and recovery plans.
Job RequirementsRequirements:
  • BS in a technical field (EE, ME, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related).
  • 3–5+ years of project management in electronics manufacturing/contract manufacturing (EMS/PCBA/SMT) or closely related hardware environments.
  • Advanced MS Project proficiency (resource loading, leveling, baselining, %-allocations, critical path).
  • Fluency in hardware development: PCB/SMT, embedded/firmware cycles, prototyping, test strategy/fixtures, and manufacturing transfer.
  • Supply chain awareness: lead times, BOM health, sourcing constraints, and mitigation planning.
  • Quality familiarity: ISO 9001 required; exposure to GMP/regulated environments a plus; cleanroom/low-particulate experience is nice to have.
  • Communication & leadership: run effective meetings, drive decisions, manage risks/issues, and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Tools: MS Office (Excel, Project), risk logs, action trackers, and basic cost modeling.
  • Nice-to-haves: PMP, experience in contract manufacturing/ODM/EMS, exposure to EVT/DVT/PVT gates.
Compensation depends on experience but is typically $120-125K plus bonus. However, we are willing to submit qualified candidates over budget.ABOUT KORE1
