
Security Dispatcher Part Time Afternoons

- Monitoring and respond to life safety system - fire panel alarms, CCTV systems, infant abduction systems, access control, etc.
- Knowledge of individual hospital and exterior campus.
- Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record significant information.
- Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance.
- Use radio, phone or computer to send Police Authority Officers to respond to situations.
- Coordinate with police, fire department and other emergency response teams to ensure appropriate response is made to emergency situations.
- Understanding of police and fire response 911 notifications
- Reporting unusual active to security staff who may investigate further or take action themselves.
- Track inquiries, reports and request via manual or electronic logs.
- Provides exceptional customer service to staff, patients, visitors and physicians.
- Maintains an in-depth knowledge of all security orders, written and oral, pertaining to assigned duties, as well as working knowledge of regulatory requirements needed for position.
- Emergency Management credentials FEMA 300, 400, 700.
- Other duties as assigned.
