This is an opportunity to work on groundbreaking technologies for top-tier clients while collaborating with legal practitioners who are leaders in intellectual property law. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to some of the world’s most innovative companies, combining deep technical knowledge with sophisticated legal expertise.What You’ll Do:Draft and prosecute patent applications with a focus on chemical engineering, petroleum engineering, and petrochemistry.Provide strategic IP counseling to clients across industries.Collaborate with an elite team of attorneys to support cutting-edge innovations.Conduct in-depth analysis of complex scientific and legal issues.Work closely with clients and colleagues in a highly collaborative environment.What We’re Looking For:PhD in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Petrochemistry, or relevant industry experience.Minimum of 2 years of experience as a patent prosecution attorney.Active state bar membership and compliance with CLE requirements.USPTO registration required.Superior writing skills and excellent academic credentials.Strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Compensation & Benefits:Salary range of $235,000 – $365,000, commensurate with experience (adjusted for flex-time schedules).Flexible hybrid work environment.Annual technology allowance.Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.Family-friendly culture with wellness initiatives and back-up childcare support.If you have a passion for science, engineering, and intellectual property — and want to grow your career with a top Am Law 100 firm — we’d love to hear from you.
