- Provide publication and document (A.K.A. Holdings) transaction services to authorized library patrons
- Review and analyze historical library holding utilization and maintain sufficient level of holdings in hard and soft copy media formats to meet current and forecasted library utilization workload
- Research patron requested paid and unpaid subscription services and applicable costs. Register and maintain designated unpaid subscription services
- Review and process requests for library reference material holdings to support designated curricula and facilitate training event scenario development and execution
- Research designated commercial and government published periodical listings, editions, and websites for new and updated applicable Navy-wide Tactical documents to maintain a robust inventory of Joint, Allied, military, academic, military association and government documents, publications and periodicals
- Review published Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) required reading list and identify new professional reading holding requirements to support listed Professional Military Education (PME) objectives on a quarterly basis • Create and send out email to TTGP Distribution List as follows: a weekly-announcement message addressing new library items of interest; and a monthly-announcement of New Accessions List and newly acquired library holdings
- Conduct inventory of classified and unclassified holdings. Document and report the inventory results
- Issue publications to holders and short-term users
- Maintain files
- Minimum of 3-5 years Librarian experience
- A minimum of 3-5 years experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Power Point, and Excel
- Secret Level Security Clearance
- Proficiency in oral and written communication skills
- The ability to perform all duties as assigned
