Day.Aspirus Health in Wausau, WI is seeking an IT PRODUCT MANAGEMENT AND STRATEGY PARTNER to join our INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY team!Owns and manages IT application products to deliver maximum value to the business. Partners with executive leadership and other business stakeholders establish a vision for products owned and manages a roadmap for development that aligns with operational and strategic goals. Stays up to date on current and future product offerings and promotes the advancement of beneficial product features. Leads the development and execution of product solutions in partnership with cross-functional teams. Provides project leadership on implementation initiatives and ensures product development projects are prioritized in alignment with existing governance methodologies. Mentors team and other IT employees on development of their product knowledge, as well as best practices in project management. Maintains relationship with product vendors and stays current on the advancement of those products. Accountable to partnering with stakeholders to ensure the products are being used efficiently, effectively, and to their full potential. Accountable for overall product health through regular assessments of utilization and addresses problems with function or service.HOURS: Full-Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks.Experience/Qualifications
  • Knowledge of advanced principles of information systems and computer usage normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor of Science in Business, Information Technology, clinical area, or related field, five+ years’ relevant healthcare/IT experience. 10-15 years of direct experience within Healthcare IT in lieu of a degree. Masters preferred.
  • Expertise in the life cycle of information systems including strategic visioning, development, implementation and management.
  • One or more certifications/accreditations in products owned.
  • Previous IT experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Five or more years’ experience in at least one of the following areas: Senior-level analyst role, Information Technology supervision or management, product management, and/or project management.
  • Experience in the applicable product areas for the role.
