Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will have the opportunity to be mentored and exposed to a variety of educational experiences including:
- Data collection, evaluation, and analysis
- Manuscript preparation
- Grant writing
- Engaging in and delivering professional development
- Schedule meetings
- Track expenses and key personnel time
- Ensure data is collected in a timely manner
- Manage team communications
- Oversee the project's technology
- Other duties, as necessary
- Instructor of record for classes in UTA's master's degree in curriculum and instruction with emphasis in mathematics or,
- Assist in grading
- Assist and participate in mathematics education research, including the opportunity to lead research projects in your area of interest
- Visit partner schools in the Dallas Fort-Worth/Houston area and will need to have a reliable form of transportation and pass school background checks
- PhD or PhD, ABD, in Mathematics Education, Middle Grades Teacher Education, Educational Psychology, or a related field.
- Expertise and/or interest in prosocial behavior, access/equity, middle grades mathematics, and/or providing professional development.
- Degree is attained from a R1 or R2 Research Institution.
- Solid interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and knowledgeably, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to provide and demonstrate excellent customer service.
- Ability to plan, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while working on multiple tasks.
