Job Description:Role Summary/Purpose:The Portfolio Development Growth Leader leads a team of Portfolio Development leaders who work hand in hand with Client and COE leaders to identify, design, develop and deliver Performance Marketing solutions for targeted high growth, organic opportunities within critical existing programs. These initiatives are intended to help ensure option of high performing tactics and match enterprise program investments to client, COE and functional program objectives, delivering impact and efficiency. Occasionally you may be required to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as business or team meetings, training and culture events.Essential Responsibilities:Lead a high powered group of Portfolio Development leaders in identifying new Performance Marketing Products and Services across key clients generating roadmaps that balance Portfolio objectives with Enterprise strategiesCreate a high performing culture of curiosity, learning, and connection influencing through a deep understanding of portfolio priorities and objectives and enterprise objectives on profitability/strategic value,Act as a change agent for product/capability adoption for Direct to consumer Marketing strategies and products responsive to overall company objectives.Identify process improvement opportunity across portfolios, elevate key fire proofing opportunities to applicable L3 process leadership, and drive the require change as neededEstablish key performance indicators for Portfolio development leader outcomesDevelop the business plan for new performance marketing solutionsTest and validate assumptions while creating a sensitivity analysis for key driversAssess internal capabilities and capacities to develop sustainable growth strategiesCreate the framing report (an overview an explanation of the project scope, objective, and hypothesis) for new initiativesImplement an early feedback loop to enable continuous feedback, learning, and iteration for new products & servicesInteract and sell-in products at senior levels of prospect organizations as well as leverage and influence senior Synchrony leadersHelp strike the balance between clients’ needs and business requirementsIdeate, develop, and present compelling storyboards internally and with clientsResearch industry insights and competitive benchmarks to stay abreast of market trendsDevelop best practice toolkit that can be replicated to drive organic growth project to projectPerform other duties and/or special projects as assignedQualifications/Requirements:Bachelor's Degree or in lieu of degree, high school diploma/GED and 12+ years of professional equivalent experience in Marketing8+ years’ experience in Performance Marketing, strategy development, business preferably in credit card or financial services.Demonstrated growth marketing leadership skills (analytic and creative) with significant exposure to consumer facing programs/products.Ability to travel as neededDesign of Marketing solutionsStrong PC proficiency (MS Office Suite) or comparable software applications.Desired Characteristics:Advanced degree (MS, MBA).Experience with PLCC and co-brand productsOutstanding presentation skills – written and oral.Exceptional project and time management skills as this role is extremely deadline driven.Collaborative style and approach with comfort working in a matrixed, decentralized structure.Outstanding communications, relationship building, influencing and collaboration skills.Strategic thinking with ability to develop and implement actionable plans to drive business results.Consumer finance experience and related industry experience. Familiarity with value proposition and/or new product development processes, from concept innovation through go-to-market execution.Direct marketing experience with both acquisition and loyalty/lifecycle channels.Strong problem solving skills with a demonstrated ability to evaluate situations using multiple sources of information.Grade/Level: 14The salary range for this position is 150,000.00 - 250,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.Eligibility Requirements:You must be 18 years or olderYou must have a high school diploma or equivalentYou must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding processYou must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.
