In your new role you will:
- Producing and maintaining content in support of PSoC Connect™ Connected MCUs, including:
o Technical documentation such as datasheets, technical reference manuals, application notes and knowledge base articles
o Hardware designs including schematic, layout and component selection.
o Analog and digital system-level designs
o Technical training for external customers and Infineon Sales, Marketing and Applications * Enabling customer design-in of products and solutions through coordination of the support team on architectural collaboration, technical support, training, and failure analysis
- Gather customer and personal feedback on product, tool, and content performance, features, and usability; and bring consolidated recommendations for improvement to the organization constructively
- Contributing to major product cross-functional teams for both chip and solution development
- Prototyping and producing requirements definitions for new applications and solutions.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor's degree or Master's in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with 3-5 yrs of experience in embedded development
- Excellent fundamental knowledge of analog, digital, mixed-signal circuits, SoC, and firmware.
- Skilled in C programming; C++, Python and/or assembly experience a plus
- Experience on Arm CPUs; multi-core experience is desired.
- Experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, ThreadX etc.) and embedded Linux.
- Experience with MCU communication interfaces including UART, SPI, I2C, and USB; I3C, SDIO.
- Experienced in both systems and semiconductor aspects of embedded system design,
- Capable of seeing everything from a complete system perspective while paying attention to minute design details.
- Experience with one or more of the following is desired.
- Security principles and cryptographic methods
- Embedded graphics systems and interfaces
- Analog and digital system-level designs
- Machine Learning including model development and training.
- Experience with wireless protocols—including Wi-Fi, BLE, Zigbee, IEEE 802.15.4 and networking concepts (ethernet, TCP/IP)
- Experience with printed circuit board design including schematic capture and layout.
- Comfortable with use of oscilloscopes, Wireless sniffers, logic analyzers, bus analyzers and related electronic equipment for use in test and debug.
- Ability to problem solve and systematically work to identify the root cause professionally.
- Enthusiastic and high-energy with a strong desire to win
- Adept at influencing action in a cross-functional environment
- Self-motivated as an individual contributor
- Strong sense of customer service
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to independently plan, schedule and prioritize level of support based on customer needs and management guidance.
