Position Title: Senior Accounting AnalystLocation: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)Clearance Requirements: NonePosition Status: Full TimePay Rate: $90,000Position Description:The Senior Accounting Analyst is responsible for preparing timely and accurate financial statements to support business leaders in assessing financial performance. This role involves financial reporting, reconciliations, variance analysis, accruals, and allocations, while also contributing to continuous process improvement. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.Key Responsibilities:Prepare, reconcile, and distribute financial statements for various cost centers.Produce consolidated financial statements and Gross Profit reports.Provide supporting documentation such as expense detail reports and payroll summaries.Research financial variances and originate correcting journal entries.Accrue monthly expenses (wages, payroll taxes, utilities, labor, etc.).Allocate monthly expenses (healthcare, payroll taxes, IT expenses, etc.).Conduct detailed expense analysis and audits.Respond to financial inquiries from management.Process monthly incentives and reconcile to the general ledger.Reconcile gross profit reports with financial statements and the general ledger.Manage special projects assigned by leadership.Participate in financial review meetings as needed (occasional travel required).Required Skills/Education:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience (preferred).Minimum of 3 years of related accounting experience.Strong financial analysis, reporting, and reconciliation skills.Proficiency with 10-key by touch.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and collaboration.Preferred Qualifications:CPA certification.What's in it for you:Hybrid work schedule.401(k) with company match.Medical, dental, and vision benefits.Generous PTO program (up to 5 weeks/year with carryover).Paid volunteer time, parental leave, and caregiver leave.Fertility benefits.Paid training and development opportunities.Company-paid life insurance, short-term disability, and holidays.Associate resource groups and diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.About Seneca Resources:Seneca Resources is a client driven provider of strategic Information Technology consulting services and Workforce Solutions to government and industry.
