- Design and develop processes for factory transformation projects and equipment implementation.
- Improve productivity, quality, equipment performance, energy consumption, and downtime reduction.
- Provide technical/subject matter expertise and guidance for the resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems.
- Serve as a resource for cause/effect investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning. Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency, operating costs, and product quality.
- Uphold manufacturing standards including: machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings and cycle times.
- Generate work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing specifications given local needs.
- Partner with on-site EHS to ensure all equipment meets safety regulations compliant with OSHA.
- Knowledge of CNC programming for milling (experience with Fanuc programming is preferred) to quickly troubleshoot and resolve programming issues.
- Knowledge on how to determine optimal speed (rpm) and feed rate for a variety of endmills, face mills, drilling, and rigid tapping.
- Experience in setting up and operating probes use with CNC machining programs and how to operate a large horizontal machining center.

- 5+ years Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Project Management, Process Automation and AutoCAD or similar design software experience
- Aptitude for mechanical/electrical application as related to equipment/processes.
- Communication skills to articulate voice of the customer.
- Ability to coach, advise and develop teammates and peers.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.
