
Training Specialist

- Identify training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses.
- Assist in developing training programs and prepare training plans as needed.
- Support the development of the production of classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids, and manuals.
- Support structured learning experiences and monitor their quality results.
- Acclimate new hires to the business and conduct orientation sessions.
- Deliver training courses.
- Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees’ work behavior.
- Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes.
- Stay abreast of the current trends and tools in employee development.
- Knowledge of electronic training information management systems.
- Associate’s degree and 4 years of Manufacturing or Operations experience, OR
- GED and 7 years of Manufacturing or Operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
- Bilingual, English/Spanish required
- Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat to develop reports and presentations, and training materials as needed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Alchemy is a plus
